What we plan

What we are working to bring about in the coming stage.

Our principal project

Sultana Centre for Auditory and Speech Rehabilitation

As part of our commitment to education and to auditory and speech rehabilitation, with financial returns designed to sustain the centre.

Children of the Modern Centre for Auditory and Speech Rehabilitation, Mukalla — the foundation's existing partner

Why us for this

Because the work is already under way. The foundation has a continuing relationship with the Modern Centre for Auditory and Speech Rehabilitation in Mukalla — a signed agreement, a graduation ceremony, support for the start of the school year, and distributions of school bags and clothing. The proposed centre extends that relationship rather than starting from nothing.

How it is meant to sustain itself

The centre is designed so that its own revenues support its continuation, rather than leaving it dependent on outside funding indefinitely. That is a condition the foundation set for itself before it was ever an offer to a funder.

  • Start of the school year at the Modern Centre for Auditory and Speech Rehabilitation
  • Signing the cooperation agreement with the centre

Further plans

Further development projects

Including new programmes to improve the lives of orphans and widows, and work to widen our services to reach more of the community.

What we aspire to

  • Independence for the foundation

Through sustainable projects that contribute to supporting the various groups we serve.

  • Wider reach

Extending services across Yemen's governorates, and building specialised centres offering comprehensive services.

  • Participation in national occasions

By organising events and festivals that strengthen the inclusion of vulnerable groups in the community.

  • Seminars and academic conferences

To raise awareness and contribute to research and development in humanitarian services.
